It is company policy to constantly review and update the company health and safety statement to ensure that all aspects of health and safety law are met where practical and to continually seek improvements for the welfare of all staff and customers, therefore from time to time this policy may change to reflect any such changes to health and safety law.
Challenge Fencing Ltd.(CF) is committed to providing a safe working environment for employees, in line with requirements detailed in The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, The Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 and The Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 1988 (C.O.S.H.H.), all available upon request. To ensure full compliance with the aforementioned regulations CF imposes certain regulations specific to the Challenge Fencing delivery and sales service.
Delivery Service is subject to the following requirements: All deliveries are roadside only, accessible by good hard road. Deliveries will only be made to a position on good hard road nearest to point of delivery. Goods are delivered off sides of vehicle only and the buyer should ensure adequate means for unloading goods are available. Goods cannot be moved over distance by Challenge Fencing Employees. The delivery service is subject to further requirements as detailed in the CF Terms of Sale, available upon request.
CFSales Service is subject to the following requirements: The company imposes a ‘No Children’ policy in certain areas of the premises to reduce the risk of injury from a) the large quantity of supplier/delivery vehicles entering and leaving the Challenge Fencing depots, b) the large quantities of stock within the yard which are potentially hazardous to young children. The Sales service is subject to further requirements as detailed in the Challenge Fencing Ltd. Terms of Sale, available upon request.
The above requirements are constantly reviewed and imposed to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for both staff and customers.
